1 gal. water

1 oz. kosher salt

8 oz. pickling salt

1 cup molasses

1 tbsp. cloves

4 bay leaves

2 tbsp. peppercorns

Place all ingredients in sauce pot; heat to boiling. Skim; strain. Let cool; refrigerate until chilled.
