2 to 2 1/2 pounds round steak, trimmed
    and cut into small pieces
1 (17 ounce) can peas, drained
4 small onions, chopped
4 tablespoons tapioca
1 slice white bread, cubed
1 (4 ounce) can chopped mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 to 2 cups carrots, diced
3 to 4 large potatoes, diced
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
1 cup celery, chopped
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 green bell pepper, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste

Combine all ingredients in a large roaster. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 250 degrees F for 5 hours.
