1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 eggs 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup shredded coconut

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.

Combine flour, cocoa and walnuts; add to the creamed mixture. Spread into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Combine condensed milk and coconut; carefully spread over the hot chocolate layer. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until coconut is lightly browned.

Combine icing ingredients until smooth; spread over warm bars. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting. Yields about 4 dozen.

1/4 cup baking cocoa
5 tablespoons evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
