Pineapple Fritters

1 egg
1 scant cup milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons melted butter

Mix and add 1 cup crushed, drained pineapple. Drop 1 teaspoon at a time into hot deep fat.

Serves 6 to 8.
