Iced Spiced Ginger Bars2 cups all-purpose flour Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15 x 10-inch or a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, spices, salt, coffee, a cup butter, molasses and eggs. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool. To make frosting: In a small saucepan over low heat, cook 1/3 cup butter until light golden brown, stirring constantly. Add confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract and water. Blend until smooth.
