Banana Cake

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
3-4 medium-size bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs. Sift flour with baking soda and add with the other ingredients. Put in greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
