Sorbet Black CurrantAnonymous Fri Oct 07 12:03:49 2005 2 oz. sugar 2 oz. water 6 oz. black currants, pureed lemon juice, to taste Place sugar and water in saucepan. Heat, stirring, to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat; let cool. Stir in currants and lemon juice. Strain through cheesecloth. Place in ice-cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
