Golden Glow Cake

1/2 cup shortening

2 1/2 cup sifted flour

1 1/2 cup sugar

4 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

Put shortening, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl. Add

2/3 cup milk; beat. Add balance of milk, eggs and vanilla. Beat

well. Bake 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
