Circle Pound Cake

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine

5 eggs

3 cups sugar

4 cups cake flour

1 cup milk

1 tsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla

Start in COLD oven. Bake: 1 hour at 275 degrees 45 min.s

at 300 degrees 15 min.s at 325 degrees Remove from pan immediately and glaze while cake is hot.

Glaze: 2 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup (1/2

stick) margarine grated rind of 1 lemon juice of 2 lemons

or enough for spreading consistency.
