Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, easy to make and even easier to eat!

Bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppersA friend of mine came into work the other day and shoved this bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeno towards me. He had grilled a bunch of these the night before and wanted me to try it as he knows my love of food. It was delicious! He explained that he used a pre-mixed cream cheese with chives for the stuffing and grilled it till the bacon was crispy

So the next chance I got I rushed to the store and picked up the simple ingredients to my next fun food find. Next I called up a few friends and invited them over to enjoy these little delights with my wife and I.

Bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers ingredientsSo this day ended up with rain outside so I needed to adjust my intended cooking method for indoors. So first I list the ingredients needed, or moreover the ingredients I choose.
12 good size Jalapenos
1 8oz container of pre-mixed chive-cream cheese
1 12 oz package of bacon

Take the Jalapenos, wash them, then cut in half lengthwise. Next de-seed, or don't if you like it spicy, then fill with cream cheese filling.
Take the bacon and cut in half, this should give you enough slices to wrap each of the peppers up. Bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers on Broiler PanPlace the wrapped Jalapenos on a broiler pan and cook in the oven at 450 for about 15 minutes or until the bacon reaches your desired crispiness.

These hot appetizers were a hit with my friends and I, and I'm certain they'll be a hit for you to!

Here is what a subscriber to Vitaille.com had to say about the recipe!
