Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, easy to make and even easier to eat!
A friend of mine came into work the other day and shoved this bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeno towards me. He had grilled a bunch of these the night before and wanted me to try it as he knows my love of food.
So the next chance I got I rushed to the store and picked up the simple ingredients to my next fun food find. Next I called up a few friends and invited them over to enjoy these little delights with my wife and I.
So this day ended up with rain outside so I needed to adjust my intended cooking method for indoors. So first I list the ingredients needed, or moreover the ingredients I choose.
12 good size Jalapenos
1 8oz container of pre-mixed chive-cream cheese
1 12 oz package of bacon
Take the Jalapenos, wash them, then cut in half lengthwise. Next de-seed, or don't if you like it
Take the bacon and cut in half, this should give you enough slices to wrap each of the peppers up. Place the wrapped Jalapenos on a broiler pan and cook in the oven at 450 for about 15 minutes or until the bacon reaches your desired crispiness.
These hot appetizers were a hit with my friends and I, and I'm certain they'll be a hit for you to!
